Lowering Energy Costs
A Pottery near Glastonbury had a problem with their single skinned roof, causing a massive heat loss in the winter and massive heat gains in the summer. The building could be heated in the summer, but the cost to do so increases with every fuel rise. The cost to provide cooling in the summer was prohibitive.
Monoglass was sprayed on the inside of the roof structure, vastly reducing the cost to heat in the winter and reducing the heat gain during the summer months to acceptable levels.
