| Olympia Ballroom, Reading | |

|
| The ballrooms owners, Shield Pride had contracted Webb Builders to renovate the building, they had a problem. The ballroom had a plastered dome ceiling with an apex asbestos roof over the top. | |
| Whilst this was good enough for a dance band and some enthusiastic waltzing, it would not suffice for Lisa Stansfield via 1000 watts of very powerfull disco equipment. | |
| If this wasn't enough, the roof was also without thermal insulation and air leakage was a big problem. The roof space was dangerously dark and the extract ductwork was contributing to the noise breakout. | |
| Monoglass was sprayed on the underneath of the roof and around the ductwork, preventing noise breakout, insulating to Part L of the building regulations, preventing air leakage and bright white. | |
